*
借由分美地的方式,青少年皆能渐渐操练预备申言,也能多读主话 * One elderly sister shared that she had never read the Bible so diligently since she got baptized. However, she had more and more appetite to read the Bible now. * We were touched by what John has provided and given us our Lord as the model and the pattern of RSG revealed in chapter 4. Our Lord did not care the multitude or the great work he had done in Judea. He was not intended to compete with John the Baptist as well. Rather, “he left Judea and went away again into Galilee” (v.3) because he cared about an immoral woman who had have five husbands and was not satisfied by “that water” (signifies the enjoyment of material things and the amusement obtained from worldly entertainment.) His intention and interest are to quench the thirsty sinners through which became His food. What a marvelous example! We deeply feel when the new ones or unbelievers are satisfied through reading His word, we have the same feeling as the Lord, “I have food to eat that you do not know about”(v. 32) * Our teenager boys were able to share what they were touched and enjoyed during RSG this week. On one hand, we are full of joy that our boys could be brought into the enjoyment of Christ. On the other hand, as parents, we are experiencing what Paul said in 2 Corinthians1:12, “For our boasting is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in singleness and sincerity of God, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God, we have conducted ourselves in the world, and more abundantly toward you.” |
